I am Feliks Havel. I see dead people.
Leaving on a wagon.
Don't know when I'll be back again.
Shieldmeet, I hate to go.
Actually, I'm kind of looking forward to it. I talked the Basiran scholar into hiring a bunch of my friends instead of using those frail gnomish wagons. I'm packing some extra vodka! Should be fun! And it's Shieldmeet! Should be a better caravan experience than my last.
I think Hell is a dwarven mining outpost. In the rain. Wet dwarf smells like wet sheep.
I'm going to go talk to the prisoner. Take him some food and ale. Perhaps he plays chess!
I dislike that we poisoned him.
Wow! The goliaths run fast! Our prisoner tried to escape (on my watch, and he almost got away) but they ran him down in short order. Poor guy, he ended up telling the group what he knew, and we left him in a bag on the other side of a ravine. I hope his friends don't try to kill him again.
I wonder why his friends did try to kill him? I'd think they'd want us to know what he told us. Maybe they're just bad shots? Or maybe it was a different group that tried to kill him! A group that wants us to let loose whatever we're going after, instead of destroying it! Oh heck, why worry about it, anyway? I need more vodka.
We reached a cliff tonight, and the big guys tried to fall down it. I could find a place for them in a carnival, no doubt!
Well, the lessons I've been taking have been paying off lately! Fun! We got into the site, and have run into weird burning people things that attack Kazi but don't? It's hard to describe. Kazi is getting weirder, I'm trying to keep an eye on her, especially after she warlocked out in front of the group. I miss the Wolf and Swindler, though.
Tomorrow we should be back in Shieldmeet. I can't wait to get back to my real bed! Camping is fun, but gets old pretty quick. I think a bottle of the best vodka Aurel has available is in my immediate future. And a second one for Feodor, Lev and Dima. Three more sparrows for Kazi.
*sketch of an old sparrow and 2 younger ones*
I'm convinced Statuette was a witness to events in that old complex. The instrument she carries is ancient! I think more than a few bards would cut off a leg to own one like it. In the meantime, I'm taking care of the blade she loaned me. (And yes, I am convinced she kept it there for me.) I'm sure Kiet will appreciate it's quality, although he's probably moved a few times since last I saw him. All right, vodka, tattoos, Kiet. No, better make it tattoos, vodka, Kiet. No. Vodka, sleep, tattos, Kiet. That works.
Gods, I hope my pals didn't do something to the apartment again.
So we're back, and all my friends stole was the cheap decoy vodka I left. Not that I had non-decoy vodka. So I guess they stole all my vodka. Sorry Kazi, if you're reading this. Our vodka. (sheesh)
Anyway, Aben bought a big house in the Basiran district, and evidently we're all supposed to hang out there or something. I swear, if I wasn't opening a tavern in his front room, I'd be pretty bored. Except for the ghosts. The place does have a curse, and it comes with ghosts, so that's cool.
All right, I'd be over there pretty much all the time anyway. I'm glad he's cool with it all. And Ghost Nanny is pretty nice, once she decides not to go all freaky on you. That was not pleasant.
Ha! While saying hi to Ghost Nanny, and running around getting tables and workers for the tavern (Kameradi's Curse?), I evidently (and luckily) missed out on some sort of Lal-sponsored sewer date. I had just gotten back from Aben's, and was tormenting playing with the Frakkers, when Kaz and Ash stumbled in reeking of sewage! Into the bath with the 2 of you! I commanded. Guess what? They did! Ha ha! (they did kick me out, first, but I'm working on that.)
Oh, get this. The Butcher is here in Shieldmeet! And I can't do a damn thing about it. Kazi gave me quite the talking to last night, and despite all my desires, I'm not to seek him out. Or her bitch cousin that tried to kill her. And Aben. Aben? What's she got against him? Well, if she's related to Kaz, I guess I shouldn't expect her to make a whole lot of sense, either.
Met Dima and Lev with Kaz, Ash, and Flint. I feel a bit better that they don't seem immediately inclined to kill him, too. I was wondering if he was just fooling me. I feel better having Flint and Ash agree that he's sorta being truthful. At least if I'm being duped, I'm not the only one!
All right, gotta run some errands for the tavern (so much work! I thought people just showed up and paid for booze!), and see if I can't track down Kiet for some pointers, before our performance tonight.
Flame On! I'm Gone!

Well, we have some down time, so here's what's up:
We met a legend, and he's a vampire. There was a lot of talking, but I got bored and wandered off. Vin has rejoined us, and he talks too much. His cousin is with him, and she doesn't talk enough. In just a little while, I guess Darus is going to go wipe out the Amarethi in the fort, and all we have to do is find the dwarves.
I don't think I'm going back to Shieldmeet. I think I'm going to stay in Bohdan, that port city we went through, and start harassing the invaders there. I'll need a mask, and a less identifiable weapon. I'll need a new outfit, too. Black and grey. The Sparrow. Yeah, that's it. Heck, if they want to set up forts here, I'll set up camp there. I wonder if I could get into Amareth to do this? Phase one: Bohdan. If that works out, move on to Phase Two in Amareth proper.
Hmmm. I wonder if a bright green accent color would work with that outfit?
Uh oh, looks like Vin wants to talk. Time to nap!
